Ann Tynan, MIACP

Ann holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP College. She is a fully qualified Psychotherapist and a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
With over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare, Ann has always had a deep passion for working with people. She attends regular supervision and is committed to ongoing personal and professional development, ensuring she provides the highest standard of care to her clients.

Ann is dedicated to utilising both her professional training and life experience to support others on their journey toward well-being. She believes that the therapeutic relationship lies at the heart of healing and welcomes every client with warmth, empathy, and unconditional acceptance.

Using an integrative, client-centred approach, Ann provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their feelings, gain insights, and work towards positive change.

Ann has worked with a diverse range of clients presenting with concerns such as anxiety, addiction, depression, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma, life purpose, relationship and work-related issues, coping skills, self-esteem, and self-compassion.

In addition to individual therapy, Ann also facilitates therapeutic groups, offering clients a supportive space to connect, share experiences, and foster mutual healing and growth.

Ann is guided by the belief that:
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
