Lisa Needham
Hi, I’m Lisa Needham, an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor. I believe that healing begins in connection — in being gently seen, heard, and understood just as we are.
I hold a BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, London, where I developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of mental health and the many ways people find healing. My training gave me a strong foundation in therapeutic approaches and reinforced my belief that each person’s journey is unique.
In my work, I draw from Humanistic, Existential, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches, blending them in a way that suits your individual needs. Rather than following one fixed method, I offer an integrative approach that is responsive, compassionate, and attuned to what feels most supportive for you.
People often come to me when they’re feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or lost — when life feels heavy or uncertain. Sometimes it’s about finding new ways to manage stress or difficult emotions; other times, it’s about rediscovering meaning, connection, or a sense of peace within yourself.
Together, we’ll create a safe, grounding space where you can explore your experiences with kindness and curiosity. I pay particular attention to nervous system regulation, helping you tune into your body’s signals, build emotional resilience, and move towards a calmer, more balanced way of being.
My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you — to listen, support, and help you reconnect with your own strength and self-understanding. Therapy can be a place to pause, breathe, and begin to gently return to yourself.
If you feel ready to begin your journey, or even if you’re just curious about what therapy might look like for you, I warmly invite you to get in touch. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you take this next step toward healing and growth.
